國際獅子會300D-3區申請 LCIF基金致贈慈愛教養院空調設備
近年來隨著全球氣候變遷及暖化的嚴峻挑戰，炎熱夏日中冷氣空調已成為日常生活中不可或缺的一部分，尤其是照顧身心障礙者機構。慈愛教養院中央空調主機更換所需金額甚鉅，籌措不易，現有設置啟用迄今25年，多數機組零件屢有故障情事發生，維修費用高昂；老舊機型因高耗能、功率差，導致夏季電費每月動輒20餘萬元，間接導致服務成本提高，適逢夏季炎熱，中央空調更換之需迫切。
國際獅子會300D-3區為呼應獅子會百年來強調的最高宗旨「有需求的地方就有我們的服務」，透過吳秋逸秘書長長達數月努力申請國際獅子會LCIF基金會的人道救援匹配撥款，成功捐贈二部580萬大型中央空調設備。
慈愛教養院於五年前即有更換之需求，無奈金額籌備不易，國際獅子會300D-3區總監李春季對此項目總在第一時間追蹤審查進度，得知通過LCIF基金會審核興奮非常！李總監認為，貼近弱勢者的生活改善，補足迫切缺乏的困境，能直接撫慰他們的心靈，協助他們打造幸褔未來。受惠之身心障礙者來自全國各縣市，人數年達一萬人次以上，感謝國際獅子會LCIF基金會的人道救援匹配撥款，提供住在這裡孤苦無依的身心障礙者有舒適的環境空間。
